THE PROJECT
The name came from Silicon Psychosis: Derangement in the Global Network. Over time the project developed around electronic music, technology, consciousness, altered states, alien and UFO imagery, synchronicity, collective experience and questions about how meaning emerges from sound.
THE ARCHIVE
This website is not intended to settle those questions. It is a place to preserve the material and show how the questions developed: what was recorded, what was remembered, what was researched, what was interpreted later, and what remains unresolved.
THE MUSIC
Lights Arise is currently presented as a sequence of twenty-four transmissions. The recordings and their public history span the 2011–2013 period, while the exact creation chronology is still being reconstructed.
THE POSITION
The archive does not present supernatural explanations as established fact. Personal experiences can be extraordinary without having a settled explanation. If stronger evidence changes the current interpretation, the interpretation should change.
THE QUESTION
At the centre of Silicon Psychosis is a question that may never have a definitive answer: am I creating Silicon Psychosis, or discovering Silicon Psychosis?
THE ARCHIVE IS OPEN
New records, recovered files, contradictory evidence and alternative interpretations can all become part of the archive. The project is still being reconstructed.
