The artist recalls beginning this piece on 6 April 2012 and working on it for approximately three days. It was later revisited and brought to final composition during the challenge, around 21 January.

Earlier names recalled in the development are “They Are Coming” and later “Calling All Likeminded Aliens”. The latter title is significant in the artist’s recollection because it may mark an early appearance of the idea/name later associated with Tonalities. This is a later inference, not a confirmed original intention.
